Booking terms and house guidelines.
These terms apply to bookings and hire of Peninsula Retreat House and to the use of this website. By making a booking you agree to these terms. Full terms and conditions for day and overnight hire are provided at the time of enquiry.
A 50% deposit is required on the day of booking to secure your reservation, with the balance due 21 days prior to your booking date. Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received. Classes, workshops and sessions are booked and paid online at the time of booking. Rates for hire are provided on enquiry.
Prepayments are refundable only if the cancelled dates are successfully rebooked at the same rate. If the dates are rebooked at a lower rate, a partial refund may be issued.
Retreat organisers hiring the house are responsible for ensuring all facilitators, contractors and practitioners hold appropriate insurance and certifications, including public liability insurance with minimum coverage of $10 million.
A strict no-shoe policy applies indoors. No smoking or vaping, and no hallucinogenics. The firepit must be extinguished after use and is prohibited on Total Fire Ban days. For overnight stays, please keep noise to a minimum after 10:00pm out of respect for our neighbours.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay and for returning spaces, furniture and items in their original condition. Please take care to avoid oils, creams or makeup staining furnishings.
At departure, please start the dishwasher, place rubbish in the bins provided, switch off lights and air conditioning, extinguish any candles, and lock the doors.
Our classes, workshops and retreats are offered to support rest, connection and wellbeing. They are not a substitute for medical or psychological advice or treatment. Please look after yourself and seek professional support where needed.
