Yin yoga is a slow, meditative practice that works into the body's deep connective tissue — the fascia, ligaments and joints — rather than the muscles. Poses are held for longer, usually three to five minutes, letting the body release held tension and settle into stillness. No experience or flexibility needed; bolsters, blankets and mats are provided.
Yin yoga pops up from time to time with visiting local teachers. When a class is scheduled, you'll see the date here and can book and pay in a single step.
